Grand Float Parade Panagbenga

One of the highlights of Panagbenga is the Grand Float Parade wherein hundreds of flowers are shaped into animals, dragons, sun and different characters. Floats are also accompanied by street dancers and marching bands as it travels through Session Road. Can you see how crowded the park is? So many people, I can't see where the floats are! Finally, after walking round and round under the scorching heat of the sun just to witness the float, we found an area to watch and sorry this is the nearest we can find. Haha. Of course, I won't just settle watching the float that far. The very makulit me found a way to get near the float. See, I can see the people now. I can see Vice Ganda clearly. Haha! Panagbenga

Panagbenga or flower festival is a month long annual event being held at Baguio City.   Held every February to celebrate the "season of blooming" of flowers. Float Parade This is my first time to experience this festival. And you don't know how I've been wanting to see this. It's just that every time I apply for leave it won't get approved. Pffttt! Good thing the main events are being held on my rest day so I could just go up to Baguio and watch them. And thanks to the additional VTO I can have more days to see them. Yehey! Market Encounter I got so excited when I saw this. Look! A long array of stalls selling clothes, accessories and other stuff. What a shopping haven for a girl like me! Haha!  See what I mean?
