Solibao Restaurant

Belated Happy Valentines Day everyone! Well obviously this is were we celebrated our Valentines day here in Solibao at Session Rd, in Baguio City. They have 6 different branches here in Baguio and it's an all-Filipino restaurant. It's my first time to try their food and man they're really delicious!

Here is the food we ordered. Just for the two of us. Isn't that great! Haha! I loved how they served their rice, directly from the pot where they cooked it.

First thing on my list to try is their kare-kare. I love kare-kare and their kare-kare really tastes good. You can even eat it without the alamang.

Their chicken has a sesame seed into it. I'm not a fan of sesame seeds but the taste is still good. It gives out a bit of a nutty flavor because of the seeds. But generally its ok. I would love to try other more but i don't think me and Jardy will be able to handle more.  Hehe. Oh well there's always a next time. So will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Suso Beach, Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur

The place is called Suso Beach because it is situated at barangay Suso of the municipality of Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur which is known for it's world heritage site the Our Lady of Assumption Church which is sometimes called the Santa Maria church. The beach sands were fine and brown but the picture at the top was taken around 10 am so it's almost white in color. And would you believe that this beach is located just along the highway? Yup! You heard me right..  Eventhough it was not our first time to be here I was still excited probably because I super love  beaches or probably because I haven't been to a beach for a long long while now or both. Because the last time we were here was a few years back around 2011 I guess and we just had a stop over, because we're going to Vigan. So right after Santa Maria is Narvacan which has some awesome beaches too, which is already near Vigan. So when we got to the beach...

Fortune Hongkong Seafood Restaurant, Baguio

One of the new restaurants being built here in Baguio is the Fortune Hongkong Seafood Restaurant. Well I say new because outside it looks like its not finished yet. I don't know what's on the 2nd floor up but the first floor is already finished. What interests me is the word "Hongkong". Boyfriend always brags about saying how delicious the foods are in Hongkong. So I would like to have somewhat a taste of it. Finding this gem is actually just an accident, I was just browsing through the net of a good venue here in Baguio on where we can celebrate Julian's christening. And voila! I saw a good review of this restaurant. The good thing about it is they also have a set package for 10-12 people. But my top most criteria for looking for a good venue is the food. Of course, it should be delicious. First food that was served to us was the pumpkin soup. The soup was really delicious, it was full of fish, shrimp and crab meat...

Santiago Cove, Ilocos

Santiago Cove, a beautiful stretch of fine sand beach.   The beach is very shallow so don't be scared to get drowned.  It was my birthday and Jardy brought me and Tita Tessie's family here in Santiago Cove in Santiago Ilocos Sur. Last year we were actually looking for the beach resort in Ilocos that was famous for its white sand, but we don't have much of a time because there were alot of places to visit in Ilocos. So finally, we found Santiago Cove, which I found out from a coworker who's been here.   I We stayed in Santiago Cove Resort and Spa. Inside the hotel. Look at my baby bump. Getting big now. My handa for my birthday which were all delicious! Nyahaha!
