Virgin Beach Resort, Laiya Batangas

I always look forward for summer outings because that means water, fun, sun and out of town baby! Yeah! And this year our summer outing was held at Virgin Beach Resort, Laiya, Batangas.

I got so excited when I found at it's going to be held in Laiya because the first time I got here, the beach was really clean, quiet, serene, and the sands were white, though not as white as Boracay beach pero pwede na. Hehe. I was so excited to be back here because I have lots of happy and good memories here in this place. I wasn't able to join my team as Jardy brought his car with him. When we came here we were so early the buses were not  there yet, but there were already people there who were already there the night before the event. So while waiting for my friends, we had our breakfast and good thing there's unli beer. I even asked for a pitcher so that I don't need to go back and forth to fill my glass. Hah! Isn't that a nice combination, a beer and a beach. Good thing we were so early because I was able to reserve a hut for two teams.

Picture picture while waiting for my team.

Of course the company still has programs like beauty contests and some games.

Aside from enjoying the waters from the beach you can also have a massage and you can try rock climbing just few of the activities the company offered. Buti naman. haha!

Lunch time. Nauna talaga kami sa pila, Haha!

I forgot to take picture of the lechon but yes there's lechon there. I forgot the name of the caterer but they were proud to say they were the ones who did the catering for a certain artista. So of course I'm expecting too much from the food but overall the food was okay.

The waters here were very deep so good thing we bought our life vests with us and our snorkels but nothing much to see really.

We were watching our friends doing the rock climbing so syempre try din namin, Hehe. I was so nervous as it was my first time. But when I got to the top I was so happy. Yehey!

Well, time to say goodbye, everyone's going to their respective buses but since we have a car, syempre photo op muna.

Suso Beach, Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur

The place is called Suso Beach because it is situated at barangay Suso of the municipality of Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur which is known for it's world heritage site the Our Lady of Assumption Church which is sometimes called the Santa Maria church. The beach sands were fine and brown but the picture at the top was taken around 10 am so it's almost white in color. And would you believe that this beach is located just along the highway? Yup! You heard me right..  Eventhough it was not our first time to be here I was still excited probably because I super love  beaches or probably because I haven't been to a beach for a long long while now or both. Because the last time we were here was a few years back around 2011 I guess and we just had a stop over, because we're going to Vigan. So right after Santa Maria is Narvacan which has some awesome beaches too, which is already near Vigan. So when we got to the beach...

Six

Wow! Time flies by so fast, my baby is now in his sixth month! He's so makulit now. He eats everything he sees. And when you take your eyes off of him for a bit you won't be able to see him on the exact place you last saw him, he will already be on the far side. And because of this we always make sure of his safety. His way of waking you up is by grabbing your face and then scratch it. Oh yeah it hurts a lot even if I  just cut his nails and sometimes it will leave a bruise on my face, the funny thing is that once you look at him, he will smile at you and show his cute dimples so how will you get mad by that? Then in the morning when he wakes up, he will find me and once he sees me, he would smile, sometimes shout then he will start shaking his head and his whole body like he's making pa bibo to me. I'm carrying him right now and he's grabbing everything he sees so it's taking me hours to finish this. hehe. So this is us, I star...

Vigan City is the capital of the province of Ilocos Sur located at the northern part of Luzon which is around 400 kilometers away from Manila. It was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It's amazing how they try to preserve these old houses, from the windows and floorings and those old massive hardwood doors are so ancient. It's like being warped to the old Spanish times. And to add up to that feeling you can take a Calesa ride and take a tour around Vigan.
