Bulalo Point,Tagaytay

August is the month for celebration of my Mom and my Brother as they celebrate their birthdays, so we went down to Cavite to visit them. My very kuripot mom.. (hehe..^_^) of course, wants to stay in the house and just cook food but my brother wants to go to Tagaytay. He either wants to go to Paradizoo or Sky Ranch. But it was raining really hard, so we just decided to eat outside for dinner. Then my father wants bulalo so we went to Tagaytay for dinner. I was actually planning to go to Viewsite but my family was so impatient so they just decided to eat at Bulalo Point. We ordered their special bulalo, gambas, kare-kare, crispy pata and fried kangkong. I want the crispy tawilis and their squid but it was not available so I was really disappointed.

This is their gambas or more of I call it bell pepper with shrimps. They say it's good for three people but I only found 4 pieces of shrimps. Not really what I'm expecting so another disappointment for me.

Then they served their fried kangkong, it was not crispy probably because of the weather. Eventhough it was soggy my sister liked it, and it was the only food she ate.

Their kare-kare was so delicious. It was so creamy and tasteful.

I also loved their crispy pata.

And of course the star of the night and the reason why we went to Tagaytay, their Bulalo, we ordered three special bulalo but third one is a take-out for my Tita. It was already cold when it reached our table so it was really sad. I can't blame the restaurant because it was freezing cold, but of course people are expecting a hot soup for a cold weather right? The bulalo tastes good but I loved Jardy's bulalo more than their bulalo because their bulalo is full of MSG.

My father and my baby. Julian likes my Papa so much. He's so quiet and behaved everytime he's with his lolo.

The table was so small. There's no more space and were still waiting for the rice we ordered. Hehe.

The one wearing yellow is my brother.

Suso Beach, Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur

The place is called Suso Beach because it is situated at barangay Suso of the municipality of Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur which is known for it's world heritage site the Our Lady of Assumption Church which is sometimes called the Santa Maria church. The beach sands were fine and brown but the picture at the top was taken around 10 am so it's almost white in color. And would you believe that this beach is located just along the highway? Yup! You heard me right..  Eventhough it was not our first time to be here I was still excited probably because I super love  beaches or probably because I haven't been to a beach for a long long while now or both. Because the last time we were here was a few years back around 2011 I guess and we just had a stop over, because we're going to Vigan. So right after Santa Maria is Narvacan which has some awesome beaches too, which is already near Vigan. So when we got to the beach...

Six

Wow! Time flies by so fast, my baby is now in his sixth month! He's so makulit now. He eats everything he sees. And when you take your eyes off of him for a bit you won't be able to see him on the exact place you last saw him, he will already be on the far side. And because of this we always make sure of his safety. His way of waking you up is by grabbing your face and then scratch it. Oh yeah it hurts a lot even if I  just cut his nails and sometimes it will leave a bruise on my face, the funny thing is that once you look at him, he will smile at you and show his cute dimples so how will you get mad by that? Then in the morning when he wakes up, he will find me and once he sees me, he would smile, sometimes shout then he will start shaking his head and his whole body like he's making pa bibo to me. I'm carrying him right now and he's grabbing everything he sees so it's taking me hours to finish this. hehe. So this is us, I star...

VIGAN, ILOCOS SUR

Vigan City is the capital of the province of Ilocos Sur located at the northern part of Luzon which is around 400 kilometers away from Manila. It was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is known for its Spanish Era ancestral houses. Calle Crisologo CALLE CRISOLOGO is the most famous and most visited attraction of Vigan, It is known for its streets lined with old,Spanish Era ancestral houses and cobble stoned streets.  From there ypu can buy different kinds of souvenirs and furnitures. It's amazing how they try to preserve these old houses, from the windows and floorings and those old massive hardwood doors are so ancient. It's like being warped to the old Spanish times. And to add up to that feeling you can take a Calesa ride and take a tour around Vigan.
