Krispy Kreme Baguio

Yehey!!! I am happy to say that finally, as in finally Krispy Kreme already opened here in Baguio! I've been wanting to write about it eversince their construction is still on going, however we've had alot of visitors who came by from different parts of the country and different events are going on and I have to prepare for the coming holidays. I'm also sad I wasn't able to come to their opening. Huhu. But after everyone already went away and my partner is no longer busy just right after Christmas I was able to finally visit Krispy Kreme.

I am used to buying just the original glazed one even when I was still in Makati but kuya forced me to try their mixed dozen. Hehe. It's because the flavored ones are just too sweet for me. The original glazed is just the right taste for me. And then next would be just the glazed choco.

Krispy Kreme is so near to my heart that wherever I am I would always get a Krispy Kreme doughnut. So I was so sad when I moved out here in Baguio and can't find a Krispy Kreme anywhere. So everytime I would go home to Cavite I would ALWAYS buy Krispy Kreme and bring it here in Baguio. Even if I have to go to Makati and buy one I would do it! And I've been doing that even if I was already pregnant. Then eventually Krispy Kreme opened a store in SM Bacoor so that made it easier for me to buy a doughnut. Then afterwards I found out that some establishments here in Baguio is selling smuggled Krispy Kreme. Well they are calling it smuggled because you're not buying directly from Krispy Kreme.

I remember commuting these doughnuts from Makati to Ilocos. And it was an unforgettable experience as it was my first time commuting to Ilocos. I remember carrying them around walking and looking for the terminal. I remember calling the terminal and asking them how to go there. However I'm not really good with directions. But eventually I was able to reach the terminal and was able to find a good seat and buy extra food on the trip. Unfortunately, they didn't tell me that  I'm gonna ride on a roller coaster and not   A bus. I don't know but the bus I rode onto was like flying and it kept on swaying and swaying. So I was like holding onto my doughnuts coz the other food that I have were already gone!

So, yeah, that's the reason why Krispy Kreme is so near to my heart.. Haha!

I'm sorry for the photo but this is their Baguio special, a choco doughnut with La Trinidad stawberries. I just bought them as a take out coz I'm in a hurry I can't have time to eat them till I got home. But I can have a lot o them anytime anyways since they already have a branch here. Hehe. I'm just so happy!!

And for those who wants to go there Krispy Kreme Baguio is located at the SM Cyber Building. The building is beside one of the BPO's here in Baguio amd just  infront of the Sunshine Park.  Now I didn't know that the one that I've been seeing while going to town is actually the SM building because I went directly to SM to find Krispy Kreme not knowing that the one infront of Sunshine Park is their building B.

This is actually my first time seeing this pathway. I didn't know that there is this pathway going to their building B not when I asked the guards where the Krispy Kreme is. And by the way this has always been my pathway going to SM eversince they introduced me to this place.. Haha!

Suso Beach, Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur

The place is called Suso Beach because it is situated at barangay Suso of the municipality of Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur which is known for it's world heritage site the Our Lady of Assumption Church which is sometimes called the Santa Maria church. The beach sands were fine and brown but the picture at the top was taken around 10 am so it's almost white in color. And would you believe that this beach is located just along the highway? Yup! You heard me right..  Eventhough it was not our first time to be here I was still excited probably because I super love  beaches or probably because I haven't been to a beach for a long long while now or both. Because the last time we were here was a few years back around 2011 I guess and we just had a stop over, because we're going to Vigan. So right after Santa Maria is Narvacan which has some awesome beaches too, which is already near Vigan. So when we got to the beach...

Six

Wow! Time flies by so fast, my baby is now in his sixth month! He's so makulit now. He eats everything he sees. And when you take your eyes off of him for a bit you won't be able to see him on the exact place you last saw him, he will already be on the far side. And because of this we always make sure of his safety. His way of waking you up is by grabbing your face and then scratch it. Oh yeah it hurts a lot even if I  just cut his nails and sometimes it will leave a bruise on my face, the funny thing is that once you look at him, he will smile at you and show his cute dimples so how will you get mad by that? Then in the morning when he wakes up, he will find me and once he sees me, he would smile, sometimes shout then he will start shaking his head and his whole body like he's making pa bibo to me. I'm carrying him right now and he's grabbing everything he sees so it's taking me hours to finish this. hehe. So this is us, I star...

VIGAN, ILOCOS SUR

Vigan City is the capital of the province of Ilocos Sur located at the northern part of Luzon which is around 400 kilometers away from Manila. It was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is known for its Spanish Era ancestral houses. Calle Crisologo CALLE CRISOLOGO is the most famous and most visited attraction of Vigan, It is known for its streets lined with old,Spanish Era ancestral houses and cobble stoned streets.  From there ypu can buy different kinds of souvenirs and furnitures. It's amazing how they try to preserve these old houses, from the windows and floorings and those old massive hardwood doors are so ancient. It's like being warped to the old Spanish times. And to add up to that feeling you can take a Calesa ride and take a tour around Vigan.
