BALER

Baler is the provincial capital of Aurora known for its surfing and historical sites. When one hears Baler automatically what comes to their mind is surfing, but there's more to it than that.

We were at Villasis, Pangasinan visiting my relatives when my uncle said, "Gusto niyo magpunta sa Baler?" When I heard him say Baler, first thing that comes to my mind is beach. I looovvve beach! But I know that the reason why he wants us to come with him to Baler is because he will visit his  wife that is having a vacation there with her relatives. So I immediately asked, "Pupunta ba tayo ng beach?" When he said yes, I immediately said "Cge, punta na tayo ngayon na".

This is the view on the otherside road, infront of the falls.

It was a biglaan trip so we really don't have any itinerary, we don't even know where we're going. The only thing that my tita said is that we are going to the Falls.

So our first stop over is the Digisit Falls, which is just alongside the road, you won't even notice that it's there because it's covered with trees.

I wasn't able to go to the topmost part as it's already scary and slippery.

Next was the Lukso Lukso Islets where you can see different beautiful rock formations. The place where we stayed for a day was so beautiful, it was so breathtaking! I was so inlove with the place.

For a small amount of money that you have to pay for the entrance fee. I think it's 10 pesos or 20 pesos, you can already use their pool if you don't like swimming on the beach. You can also rent a cottage, but during that time there were lots of people there and all the cottages were already reserved.

My baby enjoyed playing on the sands.

As you can see the sand was so grainy and there were some crushed seashells so it was hard to walk with your bare feet. Walking on the rocks also was a hard task. All I remember is I kept on saying "Ouch!" "Ouch!" "Ouch!"

Everywhere you look at, the place was so thrillingly beautiful.

The beach becomes totally different when it's low tide. That's  when you will see more of the crushed seashells, you will see more of the rocks.

Our last stop was Ermita Hill where you can see an overlooking view of the Pacific Ocean.

You can go to one of their view decks to enjoy the view.

There's also a stairway that will lead you to a big cross. Tita, which is a a local there, said that after you have climbed the stairs you can make a wish and your wish will come true. Hehe. What I didn't know is that you have to take hundreds and hundreds of steps to reach the cross. After reaching the big cross I made a wish for my babys' health and it would be a miracle if it will come true. :) And I hope it will come true.

Pebbles Beach

On our second day of our Puerto Galera trip we went to Pebble Beach which has a very magnificent view. Since the sands were made of pebbles I thought it's going to hurt my feet but no, I really love the pebbles it feels like their massaging my feet. It was very relaxing.  The fresh water coming from the mountains conjoins the salt water from the beach. The good thing about this place is that if you don't like the saltiness of the beach you have an option to swim onto the fresh waters. The small pebbles. Cutie little Julia choses to swim onto the fresh waters.  See, you can even lie on the beach without hurting your back. These are the shirts we bought at Sagada. Nice huh? Like couple shirts. Were also both wearing checkered shorts which I just noticed now. Haha! Nyahaha! Hungry me! I saw a stone that looks like a mini surf boa...

Yakimix

Just a few days ago,  my team went to Yakimix Greenbelt to experience another eat-all-you-can affair. It was our teams second time to be here. And yes this resto never failed me as my tummy was so full of grease again . Haha! Well it's not only the food that you will love about this place but also the interiors. The place was filled with beautiful chandeliers giving you a very classy hotel-like feel to it. The dining tables were set up with smokeless grills at the center for cooking raw meat and I really enjoyed grilling my own food. I wish our house has a smokeless grill at the center of the dining table as well. Haha!

Optus FIve

It was April again and yes it's time for a party being held by our client every year. This time the party was held at Rockwell Tent. I was not sure what everyone will be wearing and we have a shift so I just wore my dress as a top, put my jeans on and covered it with a blazer while at work and then planned on removing the jeans after, however I felt it was too much if I'm going to remove it because when I looked at everyone they came with just their normal everyday attires. So I didn't remove my jeans anymore. Hehe. Dyahe naman if I'm the only one wearing a dress. Haha. The party rocked as it was overflowing with drinks. While waiting for the band we happily drink our hearts out. haha! Finally the Southborder went out and everyone were going crazy. The party was a blast! Can't wait for the next annual party. ^_^
